Darrell Rideaux Barred During Investigation into Selling Away Allegations

Attorney Advising Disclaimer

FINRA barred Southern California broker Darrell Walter Rideaux following an investigation into allegations that he solicited private placement investments away from Morgan Stanley, his firm at the time of the purported misconduct. FINRA opted to bar Rideaux after he refused to provide requested testimony pertaining to the investigation, finding that Rideaux's alleged selling away activity resulted in financial losses for his investors.

AWC #2016049407601

Rideaux (CRD #5211032)'s BrokerCheck file indicates that he was associated with Morgan Stanley's Los Angeles branch from 2013 through 2015, after which Rideaux joined NMS Capital Advisors of Beverly Hills from 2016 through 2017.

Two pending customer disputes allege that Rideaux solicited unauthorized investments and misrepresented a non-firm product. One of the complaints requests damages in the amount of $10 million.

If you have invested with Darrell Walter Rideaux or with any broker or financial adviser who has solicited or sold private placement products outside the scope of his or her association with a FINRA-member firm, and such unauthorized selling away activity has proven harmful to your investments or interests, please call The Law Offices of Jonathan W.
