Patrick English Barred During Unauthorized Use of Discretion Investigation

Attorney Advising Disclaimer

FINRA barred former Comerica Securities (Phoenix, Arizona) and Fidelity Brokerage Services (Scottsdale, AZ) broker Patrick English during an investigation into allegations he engaged in discretionary trading without authorization and for incorrectly reporting to clients that unplaced trades had been executed when they, in fact, had not.

FINRA barred Patrick Allen English (CRD #5189025) in August 2022, writing in AWC #2022075677601 that English allegedly "used text messages to exchange trading directions" and also improperly exercised discretion in customer accounts, in violation of Comerica Securities policy and industry rules.

In its "Employment Separation After Allegations" disclosure, Comerica alleged that English inaccurately represented to clients that their requested transactions had been executed when, in fact, English had failed to place the transactions.

If you invested with former Comerica Securities broker Patrick English or with any broker or financial adviser who exercised discretion or traded in your account without prior written authorization, or falsely claimed that they had completed trades or other transactions when such trades had not been executed, and such inaccurate representations or unauthorized trading has proven harmful to your investments or interests, please call an experienced FINRA arbitration attorney at The Law Offices of Jonathan W. Evans & Associates at (800) 699-1881 for an investigation and consultation.
